Who We Are
Shanaye Carr, LPC
Mental Health Therapist
Shanaye received her Master of Education from The Ohio University, specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Rehabilitation Counseling. She gained experience working at a community mental health center and private practice focusing on anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, OCD, borderline personality disorder, trauma-related disorders, grief counseling, couples counseling and dual diagnosis.

In addition to helping others overcome their mental health challenges, Shanaye is equally passionate about self-discovery, spiritual exploration, and working with marginalized groups. She emphasizes the importance of multicultural competency in her professional and personal life. Her approach toward clients is eclectic, utilizing different combinations of evidence-based practices and holistic techniques to help facilitate her client’s journey. She uses play therapy, floor time therapy techniques, and projective testing with children and adolescents.
Chavia Pittman, LSW
Mental Health Therapist
Chavia is a Licensed Social Worker with over five years of experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. She is passionate about creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore challenges, build self-awareness, and discover their inner resilience.

She is dedicated to helping clients access the resources and support they need to thrive. Using a person-centered approach, Chavia meets clients where they are and works collaboratively with them to empower growth, healing, and meaningful change. She tailors therapeutic approaches and tools to fit each client’s unique needs and goals.

Chavia earned her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Akron and her Master of Social Work from Walden University. She looks forward to partnering with clients on their healing journey.
